The Carbon Trust is a leading global sustainability consultancy, partnering withbusinesses, governments and financial institutions globally to accelerate their journeyto Net Zero.
As part of its new Global Engagement Academy, which educates and empowers staffto become world-class sustainability communicators, the Carbon Trust wanted tocomplement this initiative with training in presentation and public speaking skills.The goal was to enable staff to confidently structure and deliver presentations forinternal and client-facing situations, empowering them to deliver messages clearlyand engage audiences effectively.
Following a training needs analysis, Fearless designed a bespoke, interactivepresentation and public speaking programme, tailored to the Carbon Trust’sobjectives.
The training focused on helping participants communicate persuasively to educate,support, and inspire.
The programme was delivered across multiple cohorts in international locations,including London, Amsterdam, Singapore and Mexico, using local Fearless trainers toprovide culturally relevant coaching while maintaining consistent standards andmethodology. Training was delivered in both in-person and virtual formats toaccommodate participants across different regions. Pre-course questionnaires wereshared with each cohort to ensure the content was aligned with participants’experience, roles and the needs of a globally distributed team.
True to the Fearless philosophy, the training was highly practical, with participantspractising real presentations and practical scenario-based exercises to ensure thelearning could be applied directly in day-to-day work. Follow-up resources wereprovided to reinforce learning and help participants embed new skills, enabling themto communicate with confidence and impact in any setting
