Our founder's story

Hi, I'm Carrie, the founder of Fearless.

Our mission is close to my heart because I used to struggle with a fear of public speaking when I was working as a Director in my old corporate career. I know firsthand how challenging it can be to speak up and make your ideas heard at the crucial moment - and how much it can hold you back if you don't. That's why I made it my mission to build a company dedicated to helping people reach their potential through speaking with confidence.

It's been quite the journey, but we are so excited to be helping people all over the world find confidence in speaking up.

2023

We changed our name to Fearless

Now with over 40 courses teaching people on how to communicate with confidence, we outgrew the name Love Public Speaking and rebranded as Fearless to reflect our broader offering of training in confident communication. We figured, if Beyonce can be Sasha Fierce, why can't we be Fearless?

2021

Our Founder got listed as a rising star in British business

We started working internationally and Carrie was named by Management Today’s Women in Business Awards as one of this year’s “35 Women Under 35” celebrating Britain’s brightest young business leaders. Talk about perfect timing, because 2 months later she turned 36 and "34 Women under 35 plus 1 under 36" doesn't have quite the same ring to it...

2018

We built a team and expanded

Word spread and before we knew it, we were oversubscribed! Carrie was burning the midnight oil like a candle in a storm, and it was clear that she couldn't do it all alone, so she started building a team of trainers to help deliver the courses she'd developed.

2017

We launched our first course for businesses

Carrie's down-to-earth approach to teaching presentation skills really resonated with her workshop guests and before she knew it, businesses were lining up to book her to deliver training to their teams of staff who were struggling to speak up at work.

2016

Business founded

Carrie took a leap of faith and launched a small business where she ran public speaking workshops upstairs in pubs. Where better to overcome your fear of public speaking than in a room full of strangers, with a glass of wine in your hand? She aimed her workshops at people who, like her, hated public speaking, and fittingly called the business 'Love Public Speaking'.
